Thailand boasts some of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Clean clear waters and pristine white sand beaches await the travelers. Diving and snorkeling could not be better. Choosing a stretch of sand is easy depending on what you are looking for in a beach destiation. It does not matter if you are looking for diving lessons, to snorkel, swim in the warm waters or just lay in the sun and relax, you will be able to find it on these islands.
Ko Samui: Full Moon Party on the beach. If partying is your thing, this is the place for you. It is home to the Ang Thong National Marine Park. It has many lagoons to explore along with the beach.
Bophut beach on Koh Samui is great for relaxing and swimming in the clear waters. The Fisherman’s Village on the east side is very picturesque and wishes to be known for a family friendly atmosphere, but you don’t have to look hard for adult only shows.
Trang province south of Krabi claims many beaches. It is lesser known than many of its neighbors. The southern coast is protected as it is located in the Mu Ko Phetra National Park.
Khao Lak in Phang-nga province.
Ao Bang Thao in Phuket Province, has something for everyone. Many may find this over developed now however.
Ko Ngai in the Trang Beaches and Islands. This island beach has powder white sand beaches. It offers turquoise waters and fantastic snorkeling
Hat Phra Nang, Railay is a perfect beach in the Krabi province with its high cliffs and rocks as well as a beach of white sand and gently lapping waves. Rock climbers and cave explorers will be thrilled with this beach.
Ko Tao in the Surat Thani province offers a secluded departure or an active trip to the many bars. This island offers diving lessons and some of the best diving in Thailand. Access to this island is by ferry.
Freedom Beach at Patong, Phuket offers plenty of fish for the ones wanting to snorkel or dive, and white sand beaches for those wanting to sun bathe or swim in the warm waters.

Nai Harn Beach at Karon Phuket. With only a few hotels, it offers a great get-away. Snorkeling and diving are only minutes away at a beach just a little south.
